I was born in Fall River, Massachusetts in 1950. Fall River was the birthplace of Lizzie Borden. Remember her? "Lizzie Borden took an axe, and gave her mother 40 whacks, and when the job was neatly done, she gave her father 41." My great great grandmother was named Mary Ellen Borden. So far, I haven't found a connection to Lizzie, but just to be safe, don't turn your back on me if there are any sharp objects nearby.
I began playing guitar when I was 14. I saw how all the girls were screaming for the Beatles, and I decided that was the life for me.
Eventually I moved to Saratoga County in upstate New York. That's where I am right now, living with my wife, 2 children and dog. I never did get any girls to scream for me, but once I did have a woman tell me that during the song "Shadow's Blues" she laughed so hard she peed in her pants. I suppose that counts for something.
